The APCW

EDIT: We have left the Gambling Wages Challenge in tact in this thread. Our intentions in dealing with Gambling Wages were to recover player funds, and we were reasonably successful in doing so. After two trips to Costa Rca, the APCW was able to secure over $11,000 in outstanding payments to players that had gone unpaid for a long period of time.

We also made an effort to assist Gambling Wages by consulting with them on things we felt were best to change in regard to their policies dealing with bonuses and big wins, so that they more reflect a modern and main stream way of conducting business. This was met with verbal enthusiasm and no apparent follow up from the Gambling Wages team.

There are still several issues with Gambling Wages, including tens of thousands in unpaid winnings and terms and conditions which are not player friendly. The APCW therefore has issued a "WARNING" for all players about the Gambling Wages properties, and extends this "WARNING" to all Virtual Casino Proprties as well. Gambling Wages was removed from APCW Sponsorship in 2009.

======================================================

Welcome to the Gambling Wages Challenge. This is where players and webmasters who have issues with the Gambling Wages program (or the casinos they market for) can list their complaints.

Over the next several weeks, the APCW will select one (1) player and one (1) webmaster out of all the complaints listed. That player and webmaster will then be invited to accompany myself and the APCW Auditing Director to San Jose, Costa Rica, to present their complaint to Gambling Wages management in person and on camera for our Perspectives Weekly podcast.

The selected player and webmaster will have their air travel and hotel payed by Gambling Wages, and will be the guests of APCW and the affiliate program management during their stay. If you are unable or unwilling to travel during the first ten days of October, please say so in your statement below.

Other than that, we only have one rule: You must articulate your complaint, and it must be a legitimate complaint. Please do not simply post "they suck" or any other non-specific statement. If you have a real issue as a customer or an affiliate of theirs, please do list all the details.

Any post which is not a specific complaint will not be considered for the travel to Costa Rica and may be removed at our discretion. Any post which is threatening or vulgar will absolutely be removed and the poster banned from this site.

Great idea guys, keep on the good work... two thumbs up
Thank you, Luis... glad to have you here. But I thought I had a copyright on the whole "two thumbs up" thang?! LOL! =0)
so - do I just post them here J Todd?

Cuzz.. I can go on and on.. ROLL TAPE!
Sure, Tom, you can post it right here.

If you have a lot to post (about things that you specifically have been involved in) then maybe pick the most important one or two elements so that it's easier to read. If you need to write a book (or a short story) then you can PM me if you want =0)
My major gripe is the fact that ever since POC was aquired by GW, I have not been able to view my stats. I have emailed numerous times over the years and the replies back were, "Odd...I promise to check on it." Nothing has ever been done. I know I have players there and would very much like to know the stats status.
PM me your user name and I'll get you an answer.
HeyTod, Thanks for starting this....These guys really need to get their act together. I can't go to Costa Rica but appreciate the chance... Maybe you can do what you do best and get these guys to straighten up and fly right!!! Maybe just keep their woord/ promises!!!!

Heres all of the emails and replies I've received after waiting and waiting!!
Would be nice if someone over there at GW could keep a promise!!!

This email only took 2 weeks to get a reply!!!

Tana,

I understand your frustration and I have called him twice and emailed him as well. I always seem to contact when he is out of the office so I sent another email today and left another message. I gave him your email address in case he isn't getting your emails and asked him to contact you. If you do not hear from him please let me know. I am going to call him again in the morning, just to be sure. I'm sorry he isn't being responsive, I hope it's just a case of him not getting your emails. We work together but the payouts and everything else is completely separate so unfortunately he is the only one who can resolve your payment issues. Thanks for your patience!

Elizabeth

They promised changes but really is was just more BS!!!

I've been waiting on payment from BK FOR 4months and the small amount from GW for 2 months not knowing that Bingo and the casinos pay seperstely. Was never contacted requesting payment info from the BK Manager Daniel and now that I am owed several hundred dollars and they have my payment info I cant get paid nor can I get a reply!!!!

So if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for posting this, Tana, it is appreciated.

I do understand that GW's is having serious payout issues right now. Some of their funds were seized in the Bodog debacle, and paying players & webmasters in the US is increasingly challenging.

That said, if you're the one who is owed the money, it's not really your problem, is it? LOL! =0) You just need to get paid... and not in 2 months or four months... within 30 days for sure!

I will speak with Robert about this (and I know he's monitoring the thread) and see if we can't get a MoneyGram or Western Union to you ASAP.

To bad you can't go to Costa Rica... it's really a heck of a trip!
It would really help if GW gets its casinos accredited at Casinomeister.

Besides that is GW no more related to the virtual casino and the others like prism, slots of vegas, vip lounge casino? Who is going to take care of these? I know the former affiliate manager (N) who took care of this.

R.
Casinomeister...

We have been in discussion with Bryan about this particular issue for about two months now. He told us that he has given GW's the opportunity to address issues with him several times over the past few years, and that so far he's not happy with the results. That said, this time he wants to watch what we do with GW's and see if there is a positive outcome. If something positive does develop, then perhaps Casinomeister will take some action with GW's in about six to eight months.

===============================================

Virtual Casinos

To clarify, the Virtual Group owns all the casinos in question. However, GW's only manages the affiliate program for some. However, we all know that personnel at GW's do handle some of the payment and customer service issues for other Virtual Casinos not listed as being managed by GW's.

I will ask for a complete explanation of this working relationship and what we can do to address issues there.

How was Bodog and GW tied together? I don't get the connection here...
Here's a new story over at Casinomeister that you guys might be interested in pursuing with Gambling Wages...
